The Three Hobbies

July 8, 2022

Everybody needs these three hobbies for fulfillment

Everyone should have a minimum of three hobbies, or at least one hobby that encompasses all three aspects of health, finances, and curiosity.

One hobby should keep you fit so this can include physical training like weightlifting or sports training like basketball.

Next, one hobby should make you money.

You want to make money doing things that you would do even if you weren’t making money (this is not idealistic, it really can be that way).

Examples could be if you love investing in the public markets, so you become a full-time profitable investor or if you love writing so you start a paid online blog forum.

Finally, get a hobby that keeps you intellectually curious.

This can vary quite a bit so anything from reading books to researching wildlife can count.

The point of these three habits is to tackle the three of the biggest problems that keeps people miserable: unhealthiness, lack of financial independence, and no intellectual vitality.

On the other hand, if you do currently have these habits chances are that you are in great shape, make a comfortable amount of money, and you constantly engage in activities where you are learning.

Personally, I engage in multiple hobbies that span across these three disciplines with activities such as strength training, basketball, programming, investing, writing, and reading.

Having these hobbies in place that I love doing makes me incredibly happy and contributes to an exponentially better left.

I’d suggest you find a similar set of daily activities that keep you on top of these aspects of your life as well!
